the photo is quite pixelated, probably due to your very small file size. try and use one closer to the allowed max (150k) to get better quality pictures. as for the shot itself, he's a cute boy, but i don't like how he's looking up at the camera and the text on his shirt to the right is distracting. -- gr8photos (3)

you were obviously trying to create a repeating pattern here, and the idea is good, however, i would've cropped the shot so that the cans at either side are partially cropped off, implying a continuation, and i would've also turned the labels to face all the same way. not sure how i would've used the space above the cans, i think it's too much and detracts from the repeating pattern aspect. just my thoughs. -- gr8photos (4)

addition: just occured to me, it would've been fun to fill the frame with the cans and place one different can (coke?) in there somewhere just to create a break in the pattern.

Fun With Paper

nice idea, and simple to implement. i've tried playing with colored paper but haven't been happy with any of my shots yet. i like this one. couple of nitpicky things: the black corners at top left and bottom right. would be nice if there was colored paper there, too. the orange paper that sticks out under the blue (tiny corner) is distracting. i told you i was being nitpicky. :) other than that, the shot is a tad grainy but you may have intended that. i would've preferred less grain personally. -- gr8photos (6)

a very cool shot of the dragon fly. usually i'd like to see them more from the front, but this is great with the colors and texture (wish you could submit this next week?) of the wings. two small nitpicky things to remove (outside of this challenge of course) would be to clone out the bottom left and top right corner. my top 10 this week. -- gr8photos (9)

personally, i think i would've liked to see more of the view and less of the room, but i understand you probably wanted to include all the shadows. well, they are nice, but the ones from the xmas lighting are distracting to me. also, your photo does not seem to be quite straight, the wall (corner) in the middle should be vertical. there are a couple of things (plant? and something else) almost visible at the bottom, and a little distracting, too. -- gr8photos (4)
