nice shot but it has a major flaw: it's too crowded. try to pick one (or at least only a few) of the objects and photograph it with a simpler background. that's much more effective. the photo also lacks contrast and sharpness and has an distracting empty area on the right side.

too cluttered....no focal point really.

I like the idea of this, but there was so much stuff, so close together that it just felt overwhelming and cluttered. I couldn't really pick out much of anything besides the wolf's head.

good idea..too many articles

a bit cluttered.....the many objects are distracting

Too much in this image for my taste, and colors are a bit bland... 4 sjgleah
07/20/2002 12:28:00 AM
soft focus

I think I'd crop tighter, or maybe rearrange the objects so more detail shows, or maybe not worry about the wolf. Maybe stronger foreground lighting would help.

The lighting and focus on this picture is great. the viewer can really make out hte detials on each object. However, it is just a little too busy. My suggestion would be to take one or two items and photograph them so that the viewer can really absorb it. Also, it has kinda an odd crop. Crowded on the left, open on the right; feels a little off-balance to me.

Because of the large number of objects on the photo, it's difficult to actually see them.

this image is entirely too busy for my liking. there are so many items that could be really interesting, but none really pop out as the main subject to me. -- gr8photos (3)

Left of the image is cluttered, while right side is empty. It seems like things will start dropping of the edge.
07/17/2002 10:49:00 PM
it nice but should have done something not hand made
07/17/2002 07:54:00 PM
I find it a bit too cluttered.

great still life study

Too busy
07/17/2002 06:20:00 PM
not exactly

Sharp picture and lots of interesting colors. This image is extremely busy. There seems to be no one subject for my eyes to focus upon.

!

If you like indian gear this is great.
07/16/2002 03:41:00 PM
This feels really busy. 6
07/16/2002 12:29:00 PM
Ack! Too much stuff :-)
07/16/2002 11:27:00 AM
This photo is a little busy I think. It's a little hard to take in all of the subjects you have here. I see your love for indian memorabilia though.
07/16/2002 11:06:00 AM
Kind of cluttered.Spaceing things out may have been a better way to go.
07/16/2002 09:21:00 AM
seems too cluttered for my eye - I don't know where I should be 'resting' or focusing on
07/15/2002 10:07:00 PM
i'd like more detail or contrast. the items get lost in each other because of poor lighting and simliar colors.
07/15/2002 08:48:00 PM
Way too much to look at. Seems confusing.
07/15/2002 07:43:00 PM
The 'busy' nature of this particular photo makes it really difficult to determine what the subject is... I suppose the 'theme' is the subject here.. = 5 - jmsetzler

Way too much stuff, the horse behind the tree is what put it into the excessive. Good focus and sharpness, maybe a bit too dark IMO.
07/15/2002 02:10:00 PM
It's a bit jumbled, overly busy to start with. The central theme of indian dreams is nice, but the mix of old and new, wide spread indian cultures, plains/sw/7 nations/northern too diverse. (I am an Anthropologist with a small amount of indian blood/heritage) Try this again with fewer objects, maybe from a single geographical area, it will be more effective. 5 Swash

Rather cluttered and a bit dark
07/15/2002 10:19:00 AM
Too cluttered. I think the indian dreams theme could have been done well though...maybe if you had included only 1-3 objects...or just the dreamcatcher in a window. Lisa
07/15/2002 09:21:00 AM
clutter. too much.
07/15/2002 04:50:00 AM
Just too much going on here- all different heights. Your composition needs help. The wolf/dog and tree of the 'throw' is very nice and did make a good background. I'm Cherokee and love everything your showing here. I rate this a six for over all creative idea. Kee
07/15/2002 01:42:00 AM
I think there is just a bit too much going on in this shot, so it's hard to focus on any one thing. Use either less items, or figure out a way to make them stand out from eachother. Right now it looks like a bit of a jumble.

A nice image but a little cluttered. Too many specualr highlights on the metal figurenes.
