2-jan 09 archive foto. escapeby rozComment: So what did you use to create the globe and reflections? It's an excellent job of compositing, and I think it fits the theme of "escape" well enough. |

Encounter 1232by bvyComment: What do you call it? How about "Uh uh"/"Oh Jeez!"
I take a lot of pictures "from the hip" (where I'm not looking through the viewfinder), often with interesting results. :-)
You might consider posting this to te "Blur" thread and gallery ... |

Early Morning Flightby glad2badadComment: Interesting, my first thoughts for gallery categories were "Candid" and "Photojournalism" ... :-)
Quick thinking (and action) got you this great action shot. |

Bench negativeby MelethiaComment: I love playing with Curves adjustments to create strange colors -- by making the colors unreal, you the semi-abstract shapes get into the essence of their type of object, rather than trying to document some particular example.
Try dragging several points into arbitrary shapes (e.g. the letters "M" or "W") and see what you get, and also try inverting or distoring the individual color channels -- I create a new adjustment layer for each ... this also allows you to order them differently in the Layers window, as the order in which they're applied makes a difference. Have fun!
You can see some old examples of mine in this pBase Gallery. |
