Sunrise at the Canyon

I'm looking at this for quite a bit longer trying to figure out what I like and don't like about the image. I like the sun lit canyon wall. That holds the most interest for this photo. With that being said, I think this will get dinged for the horizon being too centered. The background of the canyon is dark. Strictly my opinion, perhaps cropping out most of the sky and the right portion of the canyon, turning the image orientation to a portrait framing in order to focus on the sun lit canyon wall would have made this a stronger image, since it is the textures on the sun lit canyon wall that holds the viewer's interest. (Just MHO). Good luck in the challenge.

Great plane shot. Very crisp. However, I think perhaps a landscape framing with the plane in the right third would have made this a stronger image. I think for the very critical DPC viewers, the sensor dust spot in the lower right corner might hurt you in points as far as an Advanced editing challenge goes. Otherwise, nice capture.

Very scenic. Nice reflection. Looks like a late afternoon shot. Like the composition. My only real critique is I wish the sky had a blue tone. The gray sky throws the image off (IMHO).

Very "dreamy" the way you've processed this. Don't know if the model (and horse) was "brightened up" through post processing, but I like how they stand out as the focus of the image. I like how this was done.
