Avenueby mciComment: Interesting perspective, but I'm afraid I don't care for it that much. I am missing the point of the narrow DOF, is the V more important than the vowels? The close of a view lacks any points of reference, are these typed letters (small) or 12" tall letters? The marks on the sign and lettering lead me to believe this "sign" has had a rough life. The lettering itself is on the rough side (slightly home-made feel). I get absolutely no emotional context, nothing to hold me to this shot. 5 Swash |

Puppy's Noseby cassberComment: Would this be the bassett hound sniffing a road sign? (I just don't see any trace of a road sign in this picture, brave to submit, but I feel sorry for the score you are getting.) The dog's nose is just too close, it makes for a fun/silly shot, but photo technically, it's not good. Very sad eyes. Best I can go is a 3. Swash |

Road Sign Memorialby AnachroniteComment: Very clear shot, strong emotional appeal. The reds seem overly bright and the bears on the overexposed side. The pond really had me going, but now I see it, plain as day. 8 Swash |

cow sex prohibitedby Pep VentosaComment: Funny sign, but doesn't it read: Caution! Donkeys having "fun", instead? Nicely done. Where in the world did you find this? Too silly! 8 Swash |

Twilight Sculptureby MrsTurboComment: Hmmmm, neat looking sculpture, but it's kinda far away to really see it good. The gratuitous sign for the challenge doesn't seem to fit with the title and subject, there's no appearant connection. 5 Swash |

Caught Snackingby AnachroniteComment: Very sharp photo (get it?) Fun and well taken. I do question the shadows, but it's not that it's a bad thing, I just question it. My biggest problem with this photo is the lower right corner. I'm not certain of the white cheese is dirty, or if that's some digital artifacts, but it's not good. (Same, but less so in the opposite corner.) A tad too heavy glare on the mouse cord that's in the sunlight. BTW, go optical, they're much more dependable! 8 Swash |

un-PASTURE-izedby autoolComment: Whoa, where do I start??? I forgot, start with the positive comment. Very good focus and contrast in the central part of the pic. O.K. these are beef cows, not milk cows (99.99% certain). The standing in water part makes me shudder (I know it's not fouling the meat, but still.....). The fog off in the distance obsures the background, but not in a really good way. I really want to nick you an extra point due to the beef cows thing, but I won't. 6 Swash |

Trying to butter me up?by catpixelComment: Cute title, very good focus, but the color seems on the purple pink side. Getting your subject further away from the wall would also help that strong shadow line. 7 Swash |

Yoghourtby lionelmComment: Interesting (confusing) shot! I really had to look at it to get the idea. (You're probably going go over the heads of many of the 2 second voters) Nice negative space, but IMHO, I think you needed a bit more of the lid so quick viewers could also get the idea. 7 Swash |

Fortifiedby crabappl3Comment: Everything works, except for the milk droplet at the end of the needle. (it's slightly out of focus). Great, strong color! Good eye catching appeal. Ever so slightly too tight of cropping on both sides. 8 Swash |
