Anachronite hello.
____________
Fits The Challenge-O'yeah and with great humor! 'Caught Snacking'
Composition-Is very nice however, I may have moved the 'mouse' lower in the frame and exchanged the blue one for a solid colored mouse.

Background-Fitting it's full of cheese.

Digital Processing-Maybe a bit too sharp on some of the edges. Camera? Shapening?

My Opinion-I like everything about this idea. It's original, creative, colorful, and fun. I don't like the lighting. It's the weakest part of the whole shot and I think many of the commentaries agree. Thanks for letting me review your shot I really enjoyed this one.

How creative! Cool mouse too. I like the texture of the shredded cheese, but I think if I were to change something I would have not used this mouse but a solid colored one. So that it matches the cheese. Clever photo!

this is a really creative idea that meets the challenge well. the photo's nice and sharp, too, but your lighting is too uneven for my liking and distracts from the photo overall. it looks as if you used a very strong light, i wonder if you are one of the growing DPC community that use workman lights. i have those and have found that they give me very nice and even lighting if i put the camera on a tripod and hold a white bedsheet between the light and the subject of the photo. another nitpick would be that the mouse cable seems clipped just a little bit on the left. either crop more of it out or keep it all in, this way it looks a little accidental to me. probably keep it all in in this case because i like the curve of it through the picture. overall, a decent and creative photo :)

Very cute and different idea. But man the shadows did you in. Some side lightings not real bright on both side would probably help the next time. Sorry about the shadows. Otherwise a nice shot.

Cute idea. The lighting gives a feeling of drama that matches with the title. The composition is nice.

This is good. I normally wouldn't have liked the lighting, but I think your wanting to create a story here. Very creative and great work.

Mouse and the cheese, cute. I hope you cleaned it afterwards! Lighting is a bit uneven, perhaps a bit too harsh between the lower right and the shadows. Good shot.

How cute, it looks like this mouse is sneaking around in the dark with the lighting as it is. Might have liked the lighting a bit more subdued in the lower right and upper left, if I was being picky. Very original way to meet the challenge well.

ha! Cute idea. I like it. The only thing I'd change. Get better lighting next time. Seems a bit patchy. Good luck. Jakco. 7

Funny idea, well composed, but I'm not certain that the dramatic lighting helps you out here. I think that the vibrant colors of the cheese in contrast to the darker/starker mouse would have been contrast enough. I think I would have liked to see it evenly lighted to the same level as the upper left corner -- with perhaps some shadow contributed by the mouse itself.

Ahhh humor! Works well here. 2 color chese ads to the texture. I'M a bit distracted by the intense light in the bottom right and the dark shadows in the top right. I think the contrast with the dark mouse was a good idea but would've worked better with a light even bg. 8

I don't like this image, but can't really identify why. The garish yellow of the cheese is part of it, I think - certainly, it gets extremely bright yellow in the bottom right hand corner. I like the lighting, but it's perhaps too dark in the top right corner.

Great idea. The darkness on the top and the brightness on the bottom make it seem a little awkward to me, though.

Very sharp photo (get it?) Fun and well taken. I do question the shadows, but it's not that it's a bad thing, I just question it. My biggest problem with this photo is the lower right corner. I'm not certain of the white cheese is dirty, or if that's some digital artifacts, but it's not good. (Same, but less so in the opposite corner.) A tad too heavy glare on the mouse cord that's in the sunlight. BTW, go optical, they're much more dependable! 8 Swash

The idea is cute. The shadows are overwhelming though. So is the glare on the bottom of the pic. - Inspzil

Cute but I think better lighting would benefit you.

Now that's pretty cute. Would have worked well for the humor challenge, too. I really like the spotty lighting and dramatic shadows.

Awesome idea though strangely lit. The shadows at the top are distracting. I'm thinking one more beam of light coming from the top wouldmake it perfect.
