The Best Cook I Knowby Darter02Comment: Like the composition here, but it is a touch busy. The focus is a touch soft (were you trying for that effect?) bud DOF looks good! The whites are blown out so you can\'t see any details also. This is especially noticable in the cook book! |

Fairy Godmother Cakeby SamaraComment: Nice focus. A little bit more light from above/ behind would help eliminate the shadows. There is a little bit of a tilt too. From a compositional view point, It's a little busy. There are too many competing visual patterns or textures. |

Afternoon Delightby OneSweetSinComment: Nice shot. Only thing I would have tried to change would be to make the frosting on the cake level with the plate. (a piece closer to the center of the cake?) Oh and I would have liked a touch more DOF to get a little detail in the milk glass. Did you paint the berries to get more shine? |

Lemon Grass infused Spring Rolls by JC_HomolaComment: Nice image! Great focus (a little hard to see much detail in the lime though) and DOF! Nice selection of colors. I would have used a slightly different color for plate or background. I'm distracted from the image by trying to find the edge of the plate especially in the background. |

Antacid Aftermathby GeneralEComment: Not terribly interesting to look at. I do like the shadow and highlights in the 'L478' on the center top tablet and would probably tried to arrange it so you saw more of them with different lighting angles depending on location in pile! Good dof, but a touch noisy in the red of the plate (intentional?). |
