Dive Bar Bluesby dahkotaComment: I don't care for the post processing. Like the low key effect. Love the noise. Like the focus. Would like to see it in a straight up b/w.

Beachsideby annahComment: The post processing on this one doesn't work for me. I don't understand why you want me to look at the orange dress and the lighter skin tones just don't work. A true b/w treatment would have been more appropriate or a tri- or quad-tone maybe. I would really like to see it in color...

Alive as Live Can Beby ShannonLeeComment: Your focus is a little soft. I don't mind that so much, however you are also blwon out in the highlights and the guys head dissappears into the pier... Taking a shot that isn't exposed properly and turning it b/w will usually only accentuate the fact that it's not exposed properly...

The bass player by geimdrengurComment: Don't ask me why, but of all the straight forward indoor rock concert shot from below in the crowd type shots, I really like this one. I don't know if it's the tonality (Did you use a tri-tone type treatment or is this the actual lighting?) or the lines but this shot just seems to jump out at me. It works! Nice capture.

Two Lonely Minstrelsby JohnTFComment: To me it never looks right to have a model on a third line facing out of the frame. It makes me feel that I'm missing something. Kinda like you're cheating me outa half the view...

Beautiful Noiseby SteveinnzComment: I do not understand your message. You obviously want me to look at the red body of the guitar, but I do not know why. You used the flash for this shot didn't you. Did you try to take a blown out image and make it look better with the selective desat? If that was what you were trying it won't work. You just end up with a blown out b/w shot. To make b/w truly work, you need definition. You need texture. With the flash, you blew out both of those making it impossible for the b/w treatment to work.

California Dreamin'by JutildaComment: Your choice to use selective desat doesn't make sense to me. I don't know what you are trying to convey with this style.

Phantom of the Operaby TallblokeComment: By definition, can it be 'Live Music' if it's a phantom? Nice shot. Wish it fit the challenge better. This shot to me says staged not 'go out and find Live Music'...

Lone Fiddlerby JeremyFleuryComment: Did this gentleman know you were shooting him? It looks like a long distance shot from behind the bushes... The background is distracting. If you shot from a different angle it may have been better.
