Oh Motherby HipychikComment: Incredible subject for the topic and nice bw renderint. Faces are so important that in a portrait where the eyes are visible in the image, the focus needs to be there instead of the hand. Had the face been averted, the hand would indeed tell a compelling story, but that eye cannot be neglected. |

The Girl With Kaleidoscope Eyesby NeilComment: This would have been among my top pics (had I voted) among all the silly contrivances posted herewith. Your natural image is so sensitively composed and beautifully executed that I hardly have words to describe my reaction to it except to say it is a pleasure to find such a jewel among all the aforesaid.... |

Preferenceby shalrathComment: Underrated in this challenge. Atmosphere and sense of immediacy are outstanding. But then I favor straight photography. |

Two for Teaby LydiaComment: Lydia, you're incredible with the frogs. It is now reaching the point of actually introducing a new and idiosyncratic esthetic by whatever name you care to apply. The wonder of discovery from repetition is the something new that is found even if indefinable, and I would argue that the deliberate attention you show in each of the new frog images reflects something even deeper than perhaps you have intended. This is wonderful and among the best I've seen of the frogs. |

Rocking on Rockby GlanniComment: I'm not sure why you'd choose a rock to balance an egg, but it looks great! |
