 It was between this candy or a seed with a plant. I wasnt sure if I could photograph the candy good enough with no light tent yet but I like the way it came out anyways even tho you can see the window from my living room in the cherry. Hahahah.

Whole photo basic editing history using Paint Shop Pro XI:

(I set the camera on flourescent setting)
I cropped it
Then I used One step photo fix
Then I used Curves to whiten and lighten a bit and then I took it to Smart photo fix to adjust it more using sliders
Then one step noise reduction
Then I added a #1 black hard frame and a #5 white hard frame then a resize
Disqualification Details

Oh how I hate these chocolates. I remember being a kid and going "oooo chocolate" then biting it and it was gross. I won't hold that against you though.

This certainly meets the challenge! Though I feel like the lighting or the background being changed a little could have made this more interesting.

Haven't eaten one of those in years! The browns seem a little off; a white balance and levels adjustment to deepen the colors yields a more appetizing image to me. Also, and I have this problem all the time, there is a blatant thread/hair on the intact candy on the left bottom arch. Sometimes the camera captures too much detail!

I used a similar idea on a different challenge one of my favorite pics but there is some shadow adn the white specks everywhere but I like it
