faith * hope * love * family * friends * joy * health * peaceby klkitchensComment: I really like your idea and the execution was good. Your lighting was much better than I could have done. The only nagging thing is the distortion of the straight lines. On the third row down, you have a "dp" together. I was really hoping to find "challenge" in there as well. Solid 7 |

Endless Bounty of the Boundless Seaby JimiRoseComment: I love the blues. For such lackluster lighting, you did a great job. It fits the challenge and is a solid photo. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the centered composition of the "hidden treasure", but I'm not sure if I would have composed it any other way myself. :-) I give it a solid 7. |

Unfoldingby janieceComment: I originally rated this a 6, but I'm going to bump this up because I've been commenting on all my sixes, and I think this is better than that. I think I originally rated it so low because I'm not sure how this fits in the challenge. It didn't hit the nail right on the head for me, but it's such a beautiful photo, I'm bumping you up to a 7. |

Forgotten Placesby jegerComment: This is a tough one. I really like the photo. You certainly did well with that lighting at hand. It's always tough to photograph a room like this when you have such bright highlights and such dark shadows. If there were a candidate for an hdr treatment, this certainly would be it. I know that's not legal so I can't fault you for it. I give it a solid 7. |

Away from it allby aliquiComment: Lovely photo. I wish it were a bit larger, but that's not your fault. Did you desaturate this a bit? I'm not sure if I like it that way or not. It caught my eye, but I always love to see greens pop in waterfall pics. I still give it a solid 7. |

The Hidden Glob! by Dirt_DiverComment: Truly creative. It's not my absolute favorite for this challenge, but it matches the topic well and I must say, I've never seen such a great photo of the inside of a peanut butter jar. |

The Heart of a Roseby digifotojoComment: I loved this. Way to find a hidden treasure!!! I just wish dpchallenge didn't require such severe compression. I would love to see this without the compression. |

Dwelling on a Cliffby delinComment: This is one of my favorites. I think your photo matches the topic perfectly. You captured this at the PERFECT time. The sunlight on the trees above the dwellings makes them look like the yellow of aspens in the fall. |

A web of treasureby AnnabellaComment: I don't really see this meeting the challenge. Also, the narrow depth of field makes it really hard to get any meaningful part of the spider in focus. The only part of the spider that I see in focus is one of his legs. Perhaps if you could have gotten more of the body in focus, it would have grabbed my attention more. The background is a bit distracting as well. Perhaps a slightly different angle would have removed a bit of the yellow. 3 |
