PP - overlayed a topaz "detailed portrait" layer at around 25% , boosted contrast in curves a bit, neat imaged, cropped a bit, size, sharpen, border, sfw.

really strong sense of composition...love the highlights in the sea, and the way it blends into the sky...

Very subtle colours scheme. I like the details and deep DOF. Interesting pattern made by the water on the sand. Looks like the pot was really thrown out by the sea. Bumping up to 9.

I love the blues. For such lackluster lighting, you did a great job. It fits the challenge and is a solid photo. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the centered composition of the "hidden treasure", but I'm not sure if I would have composed it any other way myself. :-) I give it a solid 7.

Sure, the sea is filled with treasure, but the pollution (mug and other bits of crud in the sand) doesn't do it for me in the theme and title. 5.

Now THIS is how to meet the challenge with a landscape shot. Nicely thought out and shot. Only nit (not affecting my score) is the too thick border top and bottom, I would have cut the top one in half at least and probably trimmed the bottom as well. 9 and expect this to ribbon.
