Door and Pipeby DistantColoursComment: Very simple yet powerful. The reflections in the window are very interesting and really add to the scene. Love the stark white pipe against the blackest part of the image. However without a real compelling subject, this image is not as impactful as others. |

Third Rate Romanceby LydiaComment: Finding art in the everyday. Love how you took an "ugly" scene and turned it in to a composition with depth and interest. I like all the inside items, wires, ac, bottles and cups - very strong. The view outside the window less so. |

the rule of threesby PennyStreetComment: Great capture. I know from experience how hard this is to do, often at a billion ISO. The many groups of red lights are super awesome but also dominate the image and the performers are kind of lost in all the light. If only those lights were in groups of 3 instead of 4. |

oil refineryby TiberiusComment: Nicely seen. Very old school WPA Great Depression vibe. The refinery is somewhat central. Perhaps cropping out some land or some sky would have given it more impact.
While it may be an artistic choice the images looks grainy/noisy especially in the sky. |

Scrivo in ventoby mariucaComment: Interesting fractals of black and white to explore. Hard to understand what I am looking at at first. Almost looks like a sky shot of a ski mountain. The I see the shadow of the piper. Perhaps a little too much grey that dominates the image rather the deep blacks and bright whites. |

fragileby skewsmeComment: Very ethereal. Usually having dead black and bright white in needed in a B&W. This seems to embrace all the grays and it really sets the mood and the mystery. There is a texture or noise in the sky. While that may be intentionally artistic, I found it a bit of a distraction. |

A life worth livingby NeatComment: Nicely scene and captured. The slow shutter make the foreground water both active and serene at the same time. Thee gulls and person really add to the image by allowing the eye to move to them. On not would be the two dark cloud lines in the upper left. Maybe clone them out to keep the sky cleaner. |
