 This is a shot from Quonnie Salt Pond on an early morning at slack tide. The winds were calm and this section of the salt pond is often still in the early morning when the winds are down. You can see just a few ripples in the water by the boat on the right. Thankfully a few boaters put their boats in the water in early May to give the scene some interest in the foreground.

This salt pond is our usual walking spot with our standard poodle Ruby.

Love how smooth the water looked. Your shutter speed is not long enough to produce the silky smooth water. Looks like it was just a very calm day with no wind. Awesome image, and congratulations on the red. Thought it would be the blue though.

One of my top picks. So calm and serene. I love all the muted blue tones and the lovely gradient that they create. If the lower vignette was added, perhaps tone it down by 30-50%.
