Your work turned out beautifully. I agree about the crop. I think I would crop it to the aspect ratio of the cover of Parenting Magazine; suggesting, obviously, not only is the child, but the image, is ready for the cover.

When I saw the original, I thought to my self... oops, he had his camera set for incandescent when he was out doors. Why would I think that, because I do it all the time. Silly me...

You recovered very nicely. I don't know why the previous commenter saw a green cow, I don't.

When I looked at the after image, my eye was drawn to the blur around the cow's right ear... where you cloned out the tree. At first glance I didn't recall there was a tree there and I assumed this was a case of Gaussian blur going wrong when bumped against an edge. I tried such things and always end up with an obvious blur ring around the non-blurred subject. However, I am not sure that is what happened here because I don't see the same thing on the other ear.

In any case, nice job.

Great job. I love the texture you got from the feathers. I agree about eye catch lights... they should always be one. I have added them when none was present. ;-)

Interesting transformation. I understand the curves, contrast etc, but I don't understand the change in truck shape. Oh, you cloned out your reflection in the bumper as well. Great job.

I am perplexed about this. Is supposed to be a photo of desperation; from the title, I expect it is. It is a shame... lovely lady so close to the real and metaphorical edge. Very powerful shot.

I think I have seen 50 images of this model... self portrait? This has a couple of characteristics that I would like to explore sometime. First, is the tone and flat lighting. In particular, I don't know how your kept your lips so "colorless". The second is what appears to be short lens distortion. Did this contribute to the large eyes, or do you just have that large and beautiful. Nice crisp focus on the eyes.
