Shocking Messageby oskarComment: Very!! Shocking!! now lets talk abot the image:) when using a constant background even the littlest items can distract...like the speck just to the left of the ring. also the shadow cast from the light source is way to strong...maybe a second to camera left would have helped balance the light...hope this helped:) good luck! |

The Ringby TooCoolComment: Lovely Model:) great expression...does say suprise...I wish the background were different. Either one of more depth...like a resturant? or a park? or just droped out completely like the night or the sky. hope this helped. Good luck! |

It's not always what you expectby Bela45Comment: the premise is good. a bit staged (but of course most in this challenge are). The lighting is super and your color saturation is good. The angle of the cut also helps this image...I wonder if the feel of balance might have worked more if reversed? |

Dodging Birdsby SamaraComment: The young and the brave:) Kids reactions can be such fun...knowing that the young man would love to jump back but wanting to show his strengh at not being surprised! |

Happy Birthday!by WILDBLUEComment: Taking a good shot of an animal can be a bit tricky. would have had a great deal more impact for me if the dog seemed in to it as well. The lighting works, as does the festive feeling of the ribbon...has a portrait feel to it. Message edited by author 2003-12-01 00:16:50. |

A surprise gift lights up any faceby neenee1999Comment: What a neat idea! When first I looked at this image I do not think I gave it thought it deserved. Your use of light and the classic red and gold of the present and bow, put things together well. maybe a little more rotation of the package to give just one more dimension...Like when taking a picture of a building and creating perspective? I'm bumping this shot. Good luck! |

can´t believeby claudiadfComment: well this one is in your face.:) funny shot. tad out of focus though. would have done better to have had the subject a greater distance from the lens then cropped. |
