Hello from the Critique Club!
This is a wonderful shot of you and your family and as seen by the ribbon several others think so too. But since you did ask for this critique, here goes.
I worked for a portrait studio for over 4 years, my husband was the photographer and I did pick up a few clues along the way. First, the youngest daughter could be slightly lower than the oldest daughter, putting them at the same level provides a bridge between you and your wife but their head sizes don't match and is a tad bit distracting. Another way to set this up would be to stair step from your youngest to your oldest to your wife with you in the back bringing the line around and making it more a vertical portrait instead of a horizontal one. Also her dress is a bit rumpled where you are holding her, if she was sitting on her own seat or stool that wouldn't happen.
The hair blends into the background also. Either a back light or a spot light from above would highlight the top of the heads seperating them from the background and giving them an ending so to speak.
This is a wonderful shot and you should be proud, the expressions are perfect and you have a beautiful family.

| just had to add...great photo again, and looking at it a second time, the daughter closest to you (Jenine?) looks just like your wife, and the daughter closest to your wife (Jenika?) looks just like you! that makes the sense of family here even stronger to see the resemblance. again, well done, and congrats! |

| Beautiful family shot with very nice light and tones. I think some back light or fill light at the top so the your hair doesn't disappear into the background would have been a nice finishing touch. |

Bad points: saturation is just a tad to high. Black frame would be better.
Good points: well composed.

| Good shot. The background isn't the best one for this kind of shot, the hair all blends into it (at least on my screen). White clothing all blend as well, but that isn't a bad thing. |

| There you are, all dressed in white! Lovely family! I like the portrait, up-front composition for this. It is a formal presentation. The white reminds me of heaven, as if you were presenting your gratitude to a higher being. |

| A beautiful family and portrait. I think I would have preferred a slightly lighter backround to help define the hair on each of the subjects. The skin tones are very good and I like the expression of the little one! Very nice. |

Very nice portrait indeed. Considering the range of colour this is well lit with good detail. It's a strong composition and you all look very unified and earnest.
