Chimneys (pollutions: Industrialization and Second-hand Smoke)by AbstractComment: Clever photograph it is the most creative i have seen in this challenge. I like your use of negative space and the texture on the cig. looks so crumbly and nasty compared to the fluffy clouds so besides the contrasting textures the colors biege and blue seem to complement eachother so everything seems to be working in your favor. |

The Refinery by pacpintoComment: Great shot the yellow fog really gives a polluted feeling and adds to the refinery. The misty discolored sky is also a great element in your photo. The border, which usually distracts and bothers me, didn't even get noticed until after i had taken in the whole photograph. This is exactly what i pictured in my head when i thought of pollution so i want to say in advanced, congrats on the ribbon! (if you dont get one you've been cheated!) |

Living with itby UrfaKComment: OMG, I don't know where this is but man did it give you a great shot covered in pollution, even the sky looks smoggy. Other than that great range of values And the gritty textures give a sense being there. Love the expression (obviously not faked) everything here seems all to real. |

Light Pollution... The Bane of my Hobbyby jlanoueComment: Aww that sucks (the pollution not your photograph :D) I think black and red complement eachother well and the fading starry sky looks beautiful in the background. The telescope itself serves as a good leading line to the sky and pollution. The best light pollution I've seen so far so good job. |

In my drinking water? by KelliComment: I hope you don't drink from there! On a whole your photo is a little monotone but at the same time it is very clear, sharp, and although it is monotone its in a nasty brown that is associated with pollution so it works. |

Pulp Millby annakiya33Comment: Beautiful sky and reflection, but is it a good thing to associate pollution with such a beautiful scene with a guy/girl rowing a boat in the foreground. The pollution part with the factory ends up being the last thing i look at so although this is gorgeous i can't give it as high as a score as i want to. |

Vandalismby qwhartonComment: That looks insane! I like the gritty texture of the background and how contrasting colors are next to eachother. (the green and red on the wall & the blue and yellow on the girl) I see the vandalism but is it pollution? Outstanding photograph just not right for this challege in my opinion. Would be a 10 for me if only it fit better. |

Hey man don't pollute my world !by StagoleeComment: Awww... wait, this would make sense if that was grass not carpet. But Everything else in the photograph works. i like the monotone colors except on the ciggy, it hink that creates more of an emphasis on the trash, but because it is out of focus a bit its not the first thing i look at. But A for effort i'll give you a 6. |

A little ray of hopeby JudiComment: There is good contrast here and the subject is nice...but that guy in the background is distracting. Instead of lookin at the flower and trash I'm just wondering what he's doin over there... Could use cropping but otherwise a really nice photograph. |
