4-4by CharleneComment: This is a great shot, the way the glass is almost perfectly clear around the main subject highlights them perfectly. A genuinely interesting shot, full of character. |

crop.jpgby idpComment: Nice shot, beautiful colours and the reflections in the crop work really well.
Nice work with the rays of light, I'd like to achieve this more often in my landscapes but I can only seem to get it on rare occasions. Is this effect more common in HDR? |

B & W Collectionby mia67Comment: The lighting really works here normally the inability to see the right eye would drive me mad but here it just draws focus onto the left.
I personally prefer this crop to a tighter one. If you crop tight to the face you'd have a little patch of white on the left that is distracting.
However in this crop the white isn't distracting and helps define the edge of his face. |

Carnation Duotoneby JedusiComment: Fantastic shot, defiantly more effective due to the duotone, my sisters looking for something exactly like this to go on her wall. |

Kiss of Morning Light on Water by RamblinRComment: Beautiful landscape and the title is a pretty good try at squeezing it into this challenge. For me it just doesn't fit but its still a great shot. As a result I can only give it a 5 even though as a stand alone its worth more. |

1912 Iowa-Styleby GeneralEComment: I really like this set I think the childlike painting effect could have really worked well.
Its a shame about the harsh lighting and microphones, which are obviously out of your control. I think this would have been a great location to stage a shot after the performance where you could position the actors more intimately and get them to put the mics down. Maybe even get a softer light. Although this isn't always practically possible. |

After the Long Rideby debitiptonComment: As odd as it sounds I really like the sarcastic glance the horse is giving the camera....
Generally speaking in this challenge I've scored animal shots pretty low but in this case the horse really engages with the viewer and the human really engages with the horse. |
