Great big old horse, clydsdale? nice detail and the subjects are finely focused and the exposure is spot on (hate that expression but it works here: the exposure is really good!). Nice DOF and I like the parallels of the post in front and the edifice in the background...nice touch. and since those parallels are so well presented I do not mind the static composition of the subjects as they work well in against the parallels....only nit...wish the sky was blue...cain't have everything and I think this is great!

I really do not know what to see about the colors in this....I like the architecture and the mural, but the colors are too cast in blue. It's a hard image to take and I fail frequently....in post if you had tried to play with levels you might have been able to do something....not sure.

the colors are very good in this and there are some nice texture constrasts...but what is your subject, 40, painted numbers, well what is it on....The blue appears to be a tarp of some sort...I think it might have been better pulling back so the '40' was not chooped off and leave some more room at the bottom. Interesting patriotic color scheme but not much else going for it for me.

very nice in sepia...this angle is OK but I would have move just a bit more to either side and pulled back just a little so that the right side of the barn does not seem so crowed in the frame.

lose the frame or have it just black, the white does nothing for this image. A bit of a crop on the left size might have mfor a more pleasing image...The rocks and tree against this great expanse of background are enought and the bit of green sitcking out in the middle of the horizon is very distracting. A fine image none the less and on I like very much. Great shot for your first mountain trip.

like the rocks, good detail and exposure...you might have thought about losing the little bit of plant in the lower right corner, just seems lost and out of place. The sky color is GREAT but the focus on the supject tree appears a bit soft.

Nice photo jounalistic shot....nice exposure down from the building, the sky is blown out. You might have turned the camera down a bit to avoid the expanse of lifeless sky and gotten more of the crown though I do appreicate the use of the thirds horizantially as well as vertically in this.

Great angle, detail, exposure, shapes, colors, like everything but the frame which really is distracting to me in this very fine image which I like even thought the subject appears to have been done to death in this challenge doncha just love run on sentences?

I think I would have like this a bit better without the focus being off at the bottom...a judicious crop might have been in order. The rest of the image is very interesting...great colors and textures.
