The Longest Mileby CoreyComment: Cool how the escalators blurred in the long exposure. I don't know what the light and dark triangles up the stairs are, but I like them. Would it have been possible to catch the top of the arch of the tunnel? Well done. |

From the groundup horse they make dog food.by David EyComment: It's hard to tell if that horse is hanging from the tree or where it's coming from...am I correct if I think it's a small ornament hanging over the dog's head to make him look like he's dreaming of dog food? I can see a faint white line. If I'm not totally missing something (and if I am, I apologize), I think this would have been a lot better with a less busy, lighter colored background. |

The Oppressor?by mykolearyComment: Nice texture. Good use of black and white. Nice framing. Technically, I wonder if the levels should be adjusted because I don't see any true 'white' highlights, but that might have made the sky white too. The greyness might actually work though, it makes it look more 'oppressive'. |

Working in the Skyby BAMartinComment: I like the color...kind of monochromatic. I might experiment with cropping to see if it was improved by leaving out the corner of the building. |

Oversized Mushroomby SonifoComment: I love the texture in this photo. It's not really a mushroom, though, is it? It seems like it would have to have those little gill-like things...but I don't know. The framing is good, I like it a lot better than if you had included the whole top. I do wish though, that the background could have been a little more consistent. |

Mirror, Mirror on the floor....by cbonsallComment: Original interpretation. I like the repetition of the diagonals, and it is well-exposed. It gives just enough hint of trees to not be blank, but mostly sky so that we know where that mirror is pointing. It's clever, but I'm not sure that there's enough going on (not enough color?) that it would grab me enough to take a closer look outside of the challenge. |

looking down at daddyby jbruno1397Comment: The light on the hair is VERY cute. The background is nicely non-distracting, and I think it is a good use of black and white. Just showing the eyes actually does work, because they're really very expressive. Nitpick: the top left corner seems a little bit overexposed. |
