Granite Totemsby rcrawfordComment: This seems like a nice enough scene but doesn't really capture my attention in any special way. I think taking the shot in the middle of the day, even given the pretty blue sky, did bring out the interesting textures and details in the rock. |

The Guitaristby timj351Comment: I like the lighting and grain here. It has a very griity, live performance feel to it, so you have captured the mood of the event well. Not sure I like how the musician's head is vut off in the frame, but I generally like tightly cropped shots, so i don't think it is too much of a distraction. |

Wish I Knew What You Were Thinkingby flip89Comment: great details and expression. tonal range could be more extensive - the image does have a gray washed out look to it, but it is a very nice animal portrait. |

A Study in Colorby HRoxasComment: great sharpness and bold color. I like the point of view here too. The hot spots seem too bright but other than that it is a very pleasing still life. |

Come Closerby jab119Comment: neat symmetry in the reflection. I like the beady marble eye of the reptile. snout looks a bit out of focus, though. |

Munising Fallsby pitsamanComment: A nicely captured scene with silky smooth water from your long exposure. One thing that bothers me a little is the the water fall hits the ground in the middle of the frame and the stream into which it flows is not as visible as other compositional elements making the waterfall appear to be floating in space. |

Interludeby PedroComment: very nice street scene. good use of depth of field. great tones and sharpness. I can't really decide if the musician is looking at you or if you just caught him in a moment where he looked away from his instrument. I would have preferred seeing him concentrating on his music. |

The Bearded Ladyby ellamayComment: nice depth of field on the butterfly. I wish there was a little more space between the insect and the leaf in the lower corner. |

Sky light!by kosmikkreeperComment: looks like an interesting storm. the clouds and foreground are very dark. I would have like to see a longer exposure that could have added additional details. |
