Great photograph. As I'm learning, anything too challenging will freak out the voters - but as an artistic endeavour yours kicks ass. It is challenging because of the sheer scale of the negative space but that's what makes it a great photograph. I think some people like being challenged whereas others don't (i.e. some enjoy that discomfort and questioning - I know I do).

If this image was on a large canvas or a large framed print I could see this going for big money...especially because of the natural tones, making it easy to use in interior design. For me it's a very artistic image and the square crop is perfect for the symmetry. Very Zen....imagine this in a stockbrokers penthouse suite....think £2k.... ;)

I'm amazed this scored/placed where it did - I had it down to be much higher. This seems to have been a very loosely interpreted challenge by all...

I don't know how other people feel but this one I find kind of scary. It's a lovely idea but to me looks like a three headed lion.

I love the anticipation you've captured in his eyes. The perspective and framing is all brilliant. The leading space really lends itself to the incoming ball and leading the eye through this time lapse. Well done!

Maybe it's the letterboxing but this has such a movie feel to it. The umbrella works brilliantly against the drab rainy surround.

This is such a gorgeous shot. I love the late afternoon colours and the incredible DoF you've kept - the shot without the children would have been fantastic on its own - but adding the children and the simple movement is lovely. I like that it's a simple movement of a silver ball on this canvas because for me it really gives it a magical feel (oh yes, double rainbow too!). For some reason my brain says 'moonscape'...no idea why. No idea if this stays legal but whatever happens it's a winner :)

This is definitely one of my favourite 'real action' photos from this challenge. You've really captured something that feels like a privilege to be able to see in 'slow motion'.

Very nice shot - the large amount of clear sky provides a lovely backdrop to these iconic buildings and moves the focus to them and away from the sky (often the sky overpowers if it's too interesting with stars). For me I'd like to see the buildings with a little more definition, maybe reduce the highlights or up the shadows as they feel just a tad overexposed...but it's a beatiful shot as is.

Amazing shot, not only for the obviously interesting/thrilling action but also for the lighting which for me is the really impressive part. With such deft lighting skills I'd be tempted to shout "Larus" but I'm way too new around here to be starting to guess (and there's no snow!). The lighting on the subjects face in the three frames you can see it is amazing. The exposure for the most part is well handled with so much DoF and crazy shadowing - and I can see why you've underexposed to accentuate the rider. Is there any tone mapping in the foreground? Is that a speedlte behind the mound? Teach me your skills!! Anyhow..congrats on a brilliant photo.
