Red Roseby FarmrComment: Enjoyable simplicity and symmetry. Level of detail appreciated along with the gradual fade out of the stem. |

Hanging On To Traditionsby HipychikComment: Black and white with subtle color tone works well here. Wonderful capture expressive of considerable personality among the subjects. |

Striking a poseby BudyaComment: Sharply focused on the eyes with nice curve of green against black. Wish for just a little more depth of field. Good job overall. |

I'm Yoursby RompyComment: Intimate pose and genuine smiles make a pleasing combination. Light jacket and dark coat do well in a black and white rendering. |

Attitude by JedusiComment: Nice detail and competent execution. Suffers a point or two from overfamiliarity of eagle head pictures. Difficult to pin down a more constructive comment because I haven't clarified internally all my thinking about the overlap and differences of technical craft and photographic art. |

Camouflageby k9logicComment: Most original zebra image I've seen in a long time and unusual processing fits well. Far from the usual characteristics of typical DPC ribbon winners, but one of my top ten for this challenge, despite my thinking that about 1/3 of the area between the lower edge and the closest foot could have been cropped away to good effect. |

Have a seat, Mother Natureby snafflesComment: Making an artistic image out of junk in the woods is not easy. Use of diagonal composition, richness of colors, and soft light all combine to excellent effect. I wonder why the headrests are not as deteriorated as the rest of the seat. |

Fly Boyby optixComment: Sharp detail. Perhaps an adjustment to increase brightnes would be good. |
