Excellent candid - love the looks you caught here! And the sign is a wonderful inclusion into the scene.

I was wondering who's topaz shot this would be. Love it! The processing has some kind of classic feel to it - very cool.

Great street shot. Not wild about the processing though. (Topaz?)

It was to be a simply family dinner, two generations separated by one, meeting for a lovely brunch on that clear and pleasant morning.

However, just as they were about to arrive at the restaurant, they heard it. The screeching of tires, the explosions, the screams. As one they turned towards the sounds and their faces transformed.

He set himself, and a look of concern and fortitude passed his eyes, and he knew he would have one last act of heroism to perform.

She looked on in pain and horror, but soon realized that her retirement would have to end, for one last act.

And the little one? She just scrunched an eye and glared, for she knew that her grandparents would follow her into this battle one last time, and she could do nothing to stop it, and it was time to act.

So as one, the three of them stepped into the street, and as they did their clothes morphed into colorful costumes and energy crackled around them, and with a shout of solidarity they entered into the fray.

Not sure about the processing here. Its a little harsh and isn't very flattering to your subjects I think.

Black and white with subtle color tone works well here. Wonderful capture expressive of considerable personality among the subjects.

I'm laughing about the chicken dinner sign. I like all of the textures (Lucis Art?). Maybe a tad busy. :~)

Very different and poignant - generations caught in a candid moment - a solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being rich with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. Well done.

Nice candid, but IMNSHO way, way overprocessed.
