autumn sunsetby LelezComment: This could be a still from an urban adventure movie. That color gradient of the sky really has a cinematic feel. |

Pigeons Iby LeoComment: Catching all three people posed with right hands to their faces makes a much stronger focal point than the bird itself. Orange of the flowers echoed in tones of the pavers adds an artistic feel. |

June 18 - Between the railsby hajekaComment: Formal symmetry of main elements with assymetry of mior elements provides a balance that is nice. Maybe you can capture a train (better yet, one on each side) another time. |

Very fast Purple Martinby rrdjservComment: The bird is sharp and they are indeed fast. Freeze motion is sometimes acheived with fast shutter speed, flash, or motion panning (or combinations). With the background showing no detail, and the wings not showing much motion blur either, the image does not convey the idea of motion panning to a viewer who was not there with you. |

Very Low and Very Slowby GermaineComment: The black and white choice is great, making me feel like putting on my own sunglasses in such bright light. Clouds more definite than haze would have added unnecessary complexity. Booming sound system subtle fit for a street whose Spanish name "Guerra" could translate as relating to "war". |

18-june 09 where i live. boxing kangaroosby rozComment: Next week I will be vacationing for a week at a folk dance camp. On first seeing this composition, I assumed the group of kangaroos were all dancing. Could make a good case for it, even without seeing the usual live band and caller, except perhaps for the one punch to the stomach. Guess that which would count as a bit harsher than stepping on toes. Sorry to see it as colflict instead of dancing, but fascinating to glimpse such an unusual bit of nature from your part of the world. |

Cabinby rlewisComment: Looks like a great place to sit on the porch rocker and read a good book. Dappled light can be very difficult due to wide dynamic range. Excellent exposure and good composition. |

Past the treeby MelethiaComment: This really conveys the sense of fun and motion. The other shots are from the ground, so I'll assume really good panning here (otherwise, hold on tight to your camera). |

Suspended in cloudsby MelethiaComment: "Beam me up Scotty"? First glance gives a spooky impression of children being collected by aliens in a flying saucer. Clouds set off their outlines well. Unique and interesting image. |
