Children Playingby robshookphotoComment: Good capture. However, the bench on the right is distracting and doesn't add anything to the image. Cropping it out I believe would make the image even more captivating. 5 |

Springtime at the Farmby grandmarginalComment: I believe you've chosen a good subject however I get the feeling that the colour was adjusted here. The sky seems to be a weird lavender and the barn seems to be pink. Also, even though it appears to comply with the rule of thirds there is too much sky and possibly too much field in the foreground. It may work better as a panorama.

Easter Joyby dunamisComment: Great idea to capture the motion of the girl's hand, however the handle of the basket across her forehead is very distracting. 5 |

Passionby NeilComment: I like experiments like this. With colourful objects you can get tremendous results such as this one. Keep it up. |

Constrainedby jbeazellComment: This creates a great illusion. There is just enough contrast in the bricks to realize this is the view through the opening in the wall. |

Portrait of Majestyby CantiqueComment: This one reminds me of a Robert Bateman painting. The ghostly tree in the background sets the mood. |

House on the Mountainby RgarciaComment: This reminds me more of Heidi than Little House on the Prairie.
The meadow with house, the mountain and the sky give a nice layered effect. |

Their Favorite Game , 1987-2003 (Penny.....R.I.P.)by jemisonComment: I have to say you're trying to sell your image based on the title. I believe an image should speak for itself.
Another way to present this idea could have been to include a picture of the parted pet. This I think could have had a lot of impact.
The lack of a pet in the picture could explain the number of low scores.
As far as composition goes I think you had a good idea of focusing on the frisbee (I think that's what it is). |
