Too Closeby thegrandwazooComment: Woah! Blue turmoil! I love the sweep and curl of the clouds and the framing of the trees on the other side - but the lightning bursts through it all! a "striking" ( ;-) sorry ) composition. Gorgeous! |

Missing Fallby gg3rdComment: The yellow and blue make a perfect combo. I like the use of a narrow DOF - wish all the foreground leaves were sharp - or there were just one particular leaf to focus on. |

Just marriedby GordonComment: JOY! The photo portrays so well the fleeting ebulliance of the day - a refreshing diversion from the posed, stayed portraits that have their place in the album too.
Nice tone. |

Freedom Fallsby alanfreedComment: Cool and smooth - great DOF. Feels like I am there - I can smell the water and the moss, feel the chill of the fresh water streaming past. |

The freedom to dreamby jaxedComment: Eden - I am enjoying seeing this image in a larger format. It is ethereal - makes me feel like I've discovered a portal into a fairytale. The combination of motion and stillness is inspiring - like the laws of physics have been broken in the most freeing way! Good luck in the challenge! |

Glacial Valley Dawnby hahn23Comment: What a sweeping view! The herd in the foreground works nicely - bringing the eyes of the viewer from the details to the towering mountains. The red light feels very extreem - perhaps that is just how it was - but eberything else is so pastel and dim compared to the vivid reds and oranges, it is jarring. Boosting the blue in the sky, or at least the darkness in the clouds might add balance. |

Sentinel Cypress, Sundownby Bear_MusicComment: Nice soft and glowing light - pastel colors. I like how the tree leans to the upper corner, a less drastic angle than the hill behind but mirroring it slightly. The road in the foreground anchors the image - I wonder how it would look if you rotated the image slightly counter clockwise so the road was perfectly horizontal in the frame? |

Dauntingby baco99Comment: Good title. It is daunting - especially at this imposing angle. Nice range of tones - good job dealing with bringt sky and dark shadow. |

Watching Sunsetby diablo2097Comment: The people on the thrirds line anchor the composition nicely, I like the subtle diagonal of the waves (while the horizon is perfectly horizontal) adds to the motion of the water. The colors are lovely. 8 |

Manchester Big Wheelby Zee81Comment: A striking angle - adds to the sense of size and motion. The purple of the sky feels unnatural - perhaps that is entirely what you intend - but nothing else in the photo ties to that feeling of unnatural, so it just feels odd to me. |
