| hi Robert - i was a little taken aback when i realize this was your "Best of 2006" submission. i guess you have your reasons, but i'm sure you have much more powerful images in your collection besides this submission. not saying this photo is bad, but it just isn't your usual quality - if you get what i mean. |

| this is nice enough, but it doesn't really grab me. not really sure if i'm sold on the post-processing. the hues just seem a bit unnatural. |

| Nice soft and glowing light - pastel colors. I like how the tree leans to the upper corner, a less drastic angle than the hill behind but mirroring it slightly. The road in the foreground anchors the image - I wonder how it would look if you rotated the image slightly counter clockwise so the road was perfectly horizontal in the frame? |
