 I don't know if this image is my "best one of 2006" (or how good it really is), but I like it a lot: its colours, the bokeh, the nuances of the sunlight in the leaves...

I am aware some leaves are a bit out of focus, so I foresee comments about that and maybe low scoring too. I am actually looking forward for any kind of feedback I might get.

In any case, this surely was an outstanding autumn day to remember, and how I had to stay on my toes to get this shot as the branches were way high :-) , and worthwile to register here at DPC. Hope some of the viewers will enjoy it.

beautiful colors, lovely lines. you could probably stand to crop a bit off the top, though, as it doesn't really add to the image.

I like the contrast between the blue and the yellow. The detail on the leaves is good, but it almost looks as if it has been oversharpened in a couple of spots.

I miss fall too. I wish the lower leaf was not cropped. Good idea!

The yellow and blue make a perfect combo. I like the use of a narrow DOF - wish all the foreground leaves were sharp - or there were just one particular leaf to focus on.
