| Eric, Just saw this. (Out viewing profiles again.) AMAZING! I know how hard it is to get great looking lightening shots due to timing issues. This is perfectly framed and everything. Love the coloring. |

| 8 - Very nice. Like to have seen the gradient going down into the bottom right corner softened to lessen the distraction there, and a little on the left too. Minor, but the light filtering through the trees/bushes on the bottom left corner perhaps cloned out/darkened. The lightning coming through the trees/bushes at the bottom is a good effect, in my opinion. |

| I have a morbid fascination with thunderstorms and they never fail to catch my eye. The colouring increases the feeling of foreboding. Great shot. |

| Woah! Blue turmoil! I love the sweep and curl of the clouds and the framing of the trees on the other side - but the lightning bursts through it all! a "striking" ( ;-) sorry ) composition. Gorgeous! |

| A very dramatic shot, but without some clear subject (aside from the lightening) to add interest or act as a focal point of the photo, it just doesn't measure up in a "best of year" challenge. Nice photo, but very average in this pack. |
