hey!!!from arabi, georgiaby melodeeComment: This is humorous but it seems to be more of a depcition of rural life than city life. The sign seems to be the main artistic statement (someone else's work). I'm not a freak about graininess but this is a bit grainy even for my taste. |

New York City Side Streetby suristaComment: This is a kind of dull view of this city. Perhaps a close-up of one of the older buildings from an unusual point of view? |

Heart Of The Cityby ramilComment: This is a beautiful skyline. The image quality needs to be quite a bit better for me to really appreciate this shot though. I'm not a freak for super sharpness but with this type of image I think it is imperative. |

rich n poorby sandeepsalwan45Comment: Wow, this is really badly pixelated. It could be an interesting shot but the image quality is really so bad as to be distracting. |

January Sales Circa 2006by kevrobertsonComment: This has a rather timeless feel to it. It would be easy to attribute that to the sepia tone but I thin more it is the random capture of the huge crowd of people in the streets. I would like it quite a bit more if it were a bitter sharper in focus. It's the kind of shot that a large format film camera captures so well because the great depth of field and the incredible sharpness allows you to really spend time perusing details and faces. With this exposure everything is a bit too grainy to really spend a lot of time with. |

Taxiby scared_of_the_darkComment: Cute shot of this couple. I like the smile on the cabby (?). It is a bit overexposed in the background but I can see how that happened in trying to get the exposure of the couple right. |

under bridge reconstructionby efeefeComment: A potentially interesting subject. What kind of ruins it for me is the long, blurry expanse of whatever that is in the foreground. I like the pole with all the flyers and the play of shadow on the planks. |

Toronto Garbage Dayby jazzmikComment: This could be an interesting shot but without people it is just kind of dull for me. The blur of headlights helps but in the end it isn't quiote enough to engage me. |

True American Heroesby oilofoleComment: Nice capture, if a bit grainy and lackling in focus. Could be a bit more saturated in the reds and yellows, as well. |

Riding the Subwayby jpetersComment: Nice grainy image works for this challenge, IMO. I like the narrow, horizontal frame for this shot. Just wish it were a bit bigger (I know you probably used up your max on the width). Could wish for slightly more exposure in the foreground. I love the blurred train. |
