This was taken from the train station near my house that sits above Broadway (125th St on the 1, if anyone's interested).

Earlier in the day I had taken a couple dozen pictures walking around Broadway until I realized that there were probably going to be a zillion pictures of 'busy city intersections' and 'traffic' and traffic signs/lights' etc. So I decided to do something a little different. On my way home, I realized that this side street - while nothing special at ground level - had a '3D' feel to it when looked at from above.

nice perspective shot, colors are somewhat dull, photo could be a little brighter

Nice perspective for this picture, color seems a bit flat though. Nice exposure and focus.

Really like the wide angle, and the viewpoint, even if it is, ahem, a tad boring (sorry!).

This photo is quite dark and there appears to be an absence of "Life" even though there is plenty of "City". Also, because the clouds are so white compared to the buildings they keep drawing my attention. Composition is good though - I like the symmmetry and the way the buildings lead you up the street.

Perspective good, image pulls you towards the trees in the centre background.....

An unsharp mask and B&W would have made this go from "OK" to "great" ( actually tried it: it works wonders).

Slightly dull in color and choice of foursquare, head-on composition

Very well-centered perspective on your wide-angle!

nicely captured place, but is that enough to capture "life"?

Composition is ok. The choice of subject matter is ok. The image quality is ok. Could have been a little more creative. - 5

This is a kind of dull view of this city. Perhaps a close-up of one of the older buildings from an unusual point of view?

I like the composition of this image, but the murky contrast pulls it down and makes it much less vivid.

Spooky how empty the street is.
