Would've been a 10 if they were looking at the camera and/or they were a bit sharper. Good use of thirds and luminance contrast to make their faces the only bright point in the picture.. draws your eyes immediately to them.

Some would argue her hand on his shoulder is a distraction due to it being visually detached, i.e. you can't see her arm. His arm draped over her takes over the shot a bit. But choice of background and shirt colors guarantees via color contrasts that your eyes are drawn to theirs due to their dark hair.

No texture on their skin-- looks over smoothed with noiseware / noise ninja / luminance noise reduction.

they don't look like happy friends.. as for the photo, the sepia tone works, the high key look works.. the dark hair draws the viewer's eye there. Would've scored higher if not for the dour expressions
