Good crop. If the snow is overexposed, add a monochrome channel mix adjustment layer in lightness mode. It may help the snow.

Definately a good choice on the crop. The increased saturation really brings the skyline out. Unfortunately, in doing so, the noise was increased. If you removed the noise, you probably wouldn't lose too much detail as the texture of the fence will stand out.

Also, what about a gradual mid range upwards curve adjustment to add a little depth to the landscape?

I started this out at a 6, then I kept showing people around the office, then I bumped it to a 7, then I showed more people, then I bumped it up to an 8. Too bad I can't keep voting.

This is hilarious, and if I have to get canned, this is the way I would want to go!

Good shot for the texture of the bread. The lighting is a bit harsh, as indicated by the sharp shadow being the bread. Try diffusing against a wall. The mitt is good, but probably more of it would help the composition to give it more of an action feel.

Avalanche Lake

Is this in Montanna? I went to an Avalanche Lake when I was working in Kalispell. This looks familiar. If it is, I have a very similar shot, and one of my favorites shooting the opposite direction.
