At first glance I preferred the original, but the more I look at this the more I like it. The editing pushes it just a bit beyond reality and that's the appeal of it. It looks almost like a drawing and then gets me thinking about something on the wall of a cave. |

The high contrast edit is great...really brings out the texture of that fur! |

I love this edit. Excellent choice of processing. I love that I can still see the texture of buffalo's fur and some gras. Great job!! |

I'm now humming "You can't roller skate in a buffalo herd..." Amazing how many photos remind me of songs. |

Given that it looks as though your original was overexposed, I think your high-key approach works well. I like how with such a minimum of data, you can still get such a sense of the wispy nature of the fur. |

This is fabulous! I love the high contrast, the tone is just great. I actually like working with blown out images, because often you can turn them into real gems like THIS! |

Excellent edit, Kelli! The original was blown a bit, but this really makes use of that and gives excellent detail in his coat. Very nice work! |

Good edit. It really helped with the washed out parts from the original, color version. Looks also like its on high contrast print paper. |
