This is my favourite self portrait because you can't see me in too much detail! The main statue is The Flight From Pompeii. I was going to take photos of the statues, but as the statuary was closed I took this instead.

usm, curves, transform perspective, and skew, which still left the left part of frame distorted. Selected that and straightened it with liquify. Selected part of the bottom frame, did a transform flip vertical and moved that to top to balance things. Used clone tool to fill in the missing bit that liquify left on the left. Border, resize, stw.

The first thing I noticed was the perspective change, and I think it is well done and I wouldn't had noticed anything if I hadn't seen the original. Good job enhancing the color while keeping it natural looking.

Some heavy duty processing but it looks so subtle and natural

Very nice work straightening the frame and getting the perspective squared away! And a very neat idea for a self portrait, too. You've managed to hide the camera well - I can't quite find it.

A brilliantly-executed "natural composite" image -- you'd have to work really hard to assemble something like this in Photoshop. :-)

The blending of interior and exterior elements is perfect, and it has just the right feeling of fantasy to match the subject matter.

hey marion ..
i love how reflections create different layers of a scene .. layers upon layers sort'v ..
you've done a great process on this especially bringing in the upper door frame .. its just brilliant ..
i love how you're superimposed on the statue .. the real and the not real .. the real and the creation ..
you're very clever taking a pic without looking thru the viewfinder .. very clever .. !!

Looks like a framed painting now.

Pretty great recovery, and a fun shot to explore. That frame "feels" good, you'd never guess it had to be recovered after the skewing was done.

The natural framing is just great, and the crop made it perfect! I really like how your body is place over the statue; you blend it so well and almost seem to be a part of it. Nicely done!

Nice shot. What could be considered an ordinary snapshot is well transformed into a very nice composition!
