To get this kind of shot in camera, I try to do the shooting late in the evening, or right after sunset and use a tripod. I know it isn't always convenient, but it works pretty well for me.
I like that you exposed to get the light on the tops of the arches right.
That must be a darn big horse if it takes all this to hold it up LOL : )

Only kiddin' Very victorian looking setting, and the processing helps the image to look like it was made in period.

Happy to see that you got a little rain. Many of the images we see from you look like the place is very arid, at least this time of year. I guess that the water on the ground helps make the fog in the other pic today.
