Brown Eyed Girlby lizzyc3Comment: This is my favorite of the challenge! 10
The selective Desaturation is so perfect to bring out the topic feature. A beautiful and tangible person. The Crop, angle and natural pose are all strong additions to making this a winner. |

The Plumbers Crack, the most obvious of features...by jmleliiComment: You need to do the right thing here.... Get this guy into rehab. "Crack Kills"
I love the humor and the color tone in this. Good focus, detail and....., dare I say, creative angle by which to display your subject? - Good Luck ;) |

Captivatedby sherComment: This is my over all favorite entry in the Masters challenge. The expression is timeless. The soft face color and blur background are perfect. The grainy feel gives this a classic finish. My only suggestion which may or may not improve this would be; to give her just a little more room in the frame. I think the crop is ok, but I wouldn't crop so much of her head out. Just beautiful in every way! 10 |

Interludeby PedroComment: This is an amazing display of light control. Every detail is clearly visible only on the subject and the natural background elements add to the candid feel of this without distraction. The composition is appealing even though this is a stranger (A difficult task for most of us to be able to do successfully). This is one of my two highest rated shots in the Masters challenge. An excellent work of art! |

Solitudeby p_johnsComment: Unbelievable color in those clouds. The dark blue/black rain clouds next to the bright orange on a sky blue background. Simply stunning work! Definitely a feeling of solitude. |

Kookaburraby moodvilleComment: Kookaburra sits in the old gum treeeeee.
Yup, I̢۪m singing that stupid song now.
This is a great picture! The depth of field is spot on to soften out the distractions from the background. And any additional softening you have applied has also worked well to bring all attention to the subject. Very crisp detail and nice coloring. 8

Misty Morningby jodiecostonComment: Spectacular shot!
The tone works well here. Nice deep rich blacks and soft whites. Amazing richness for shooting into the light. The DOF and detail is incredible. Great work! |

Early Morning Seascape by jonpinkComment: Beautiful capture! The exposure is just right without going overboard. There is quite a bit of grainy chatter throughout. It's not offensive or dramatically taking away from the beauty here. If you are looking for a nit picky critique, I think it could be improved a bit by hiding the mottled grain. Aside from that... This is a beautiful image! |
