day-28-cowboy-cool.jpgby suitenessComment: I love the two images here. Such a great effect (for a while I was unsure whether I was looking at some kind of reflection which had been caught in one image)
Really appealing visually |

Day28 - A Duckby WalesPComment: This guy is your guinea pig???? Holy moly they must be some super advanced PP techniques you are using because it sure looks like a duck to me
Lovely capture and I love the greying feathers around the eye and beak, which make this chap look like a wizened old timer
Super rippled reflection as well |

Day-28.jpgby KenComment: Fantastic expression on your daughter which completely encaptures the 'what now dad' face that only kids can express
Very nice blues and green in the shot |

day 28 - barn rafters.jpgby rachelellenComment: Without a shadow of doubt one of my favourite stories from this challenge
How fantastic that this building represents your great grandfather and grandfathers toil, and what a testament to them that it still stands today
I love the evocative momories from your childhood, I guess if you put kids to play in a building like this nowadays you would have some well meaning person telling you a million reasons why you couldnt, but heck life is meant to be fun. I think we all took more risks than our children do nowadays but people had the sense to look after themselves and if ever there was an accident then we had the character to accept responsibility for what we did (rather than immediately looking to engage a lawyer and find someone to blame)
Your - previously unknown to me - brother needs to be told that he now has hero status in the UK I love the fact that his tones were so full of foreboding that you remember them today (and as someone who had two similarly inherently evil older sisters its good to see the boys getting there own back)
You talk about the lack of perfection of the shot, but all I will say to you is that having read your comments I can feel the heat of a summers day in this shot, I can taste the dust motes that must have abounded, hear the clucking of the chickens and the laughter of the kids (together with the whispered secrets that they shared) and for that reason this is just a magnificent image.
But... I need to say, I have heard that someone has escaped from a nearby institution...the police are searching for him because he has been known to gruesomely kill kids...No-one know where he is hiding....sssshhhh did you just hear a creak of a rafter? Probably nothing to worry about
Mua hahahahaha

50Day28: Fire Escapeby citymarsComment: I dont know what it is but I love fire escapes and metal staircases
Nice composition and I like the way the tree branch mirrors the diagonal of the rising stairs
Good B&W conversion |

Day No. 29by GermaineComment: Super skyline and nice reflection on the water. Really like the fact that you are in many ways dealing with the same colour (both sky and sea) but that within this the subtle tonal ranges means that there is still much to look at in the shot |

50Day29: Rain Runnerby citymarsComment: Very nice shot and I really like the colour of the runners torso
I can remember a time when I was so keen on running I would have gone out in this sort of weather, I must be getting old now because when i see this all I think is maniac/oooo you want to be careful you dont catch a cold
The blur works really well with this shot |

Day 29 - Phoneby BAMartinComment: As previously mention this would have been nice in the street photography
I like the composition with the chap on the left running up a rule of third line and being counterbalanced by the bikes.
I'm also quite intrigued as to what kind of shop sells hardware, luggage and beauty products which seem quite a diverse range of things to stock (and to be honest doesnt really give you confidence in the quality of the product) |

Day-29.jpgby KenComment: What a fantastic story
I love the fact that to your daughter that the blow out truely did seem like the top of the world and that her slight apprehension was replaced by a simple love of the place on your second visit
Truely a story that made me smile and a great picture capturing the speed and energy of youth
Wonderful |

Day24 - Numerate Graffiti by bimbleComment: I cant tell you what the equation relates to but the strange thing is that it is weirdly appealing visually (and I dont have a clue why) When I saw the thumbnail it really demanded to be opened
Cool shot |
