| Excellent example of soft focus and motion blur, it so gives the feeling of sweltering humidity! I also like the touch of the lit walk sign above the runner, he really stands out great with that tan :-) |

| This is a great street photog shot. I love the blurry feel to it, it works really well with the rain & gives it the drabness of a rainy day. |

LOVE the blur. But you're right; voters tend to be single-minded, and Subject In Sharp Focus is one of their unbreakable rules.
This is a great 'atmosphere' shot. I also like the feeling I get from it -- you have the woman with the umbrella, black and white, in keeping with the dreary weather, and then you have the exuberant shirtless runner. I love the dichotomy. |

| I like the soft focus in this and probably would have voted in high in the street challenge. I think the blurriness adds to the rainy/wet feeling |

Considering that the voters in street photography would really just like to see a street, I think this would have done quite well.
Did you do any selective desat? The color on the runner makes him stand out from the rest of the photo, which is nice because it's subtle enough to make sure he is the main focus of the photo. |

Very nice shot and I really like the colour of the runners torso
I can remember a time when I was so keen on running I would have gone out in this sort of weather, I must be getting old now because when i see this all I think is maniac/oooo you want to be careful you dont catch a cold
The blur works really well with this shot |

| Too out of focus?? This is awesome!! Go over to the Blur Side and post it there - people will be gaga over it. Wonderful photo - composition and fluidity of the shot. Just great. |

| Being an avid runner myself, I love this. Running in the rain is... truly amazing. Great job, I know it's a bit blurred, but you captured it perfectly, imo. |
