LEGS ......by rozComment: Another beautiful image Roz, love the dof on seagull, whilst the other creatures legs are still sharp but not to the extent that they distract from the shot
The tiny gap between the seagull body and the leg furthest to the right is wonderful
Might have been worth burning the background just to the side of the left legs to take away the 'ultrasound' type effect (But certainly should NOT be cropped out as you would lose one of the legs if you did
V nice (again!!!!) |

Hiddenby RetroesqueComment: Love the contrast of the hair with the background and the hands and fingernails are fantastic
Great idea for an image wonderfully executed although I might have cropped slightly higher to lose the bed (?) as the shapness seems to go a bit here (maybe cropping just underneath the wrist bone?) Love the tones and contrast of the face and hands |

Day 5: Sorcha's Obsessionby RebeccaComment: A strange (but not in a bad way) image...High focus on the tap and soft on the cat. My first impression was ooo no, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. Love the intensity of the cats expression
V minor issue, the tile grouting just below and to the right of the tap is a little distracting in terms of the tones of the pic (imo)

watch me run (Day 5)by colorcarnivalComment: I would echo the comments about the excellence of the subject composition, a great pic of a kid going flat out.
Really like the dof employed as well |

Day 5 - Musicby meneleComment: Nice shot with excellent dof
As previously mentioned it would have been great if you could have achieved slightly more contrast with a white background |

day-5-arachnophobiaby mawearComment: I'm a big macro fan and I have to say this does not disappoint
Good positioning and I like the cracked glass/bokeh effect of the web
As previously mentioned it probably is just a tad out, but imo that simply means that it is 'only' a great shot rather than a breathtaking one
Certainly if you are new to the world of macros then there is a lot here that suggests you should carry one with it
Might be worth a touch of pp to rid you of a couple of hots spots
excellent lustre in the blacks |

Father & Sonby RetroesqueComment: Yaay so many nice things going on here!!!!
Love the different perspective and the fact that it is obviously so unposed. The feet in the pocket and your husband's arm draped around you son are just wonderful and I absolutely LOVE the DoF
Because it is so unposed the lighting in the room has created a couple of odd contrast points on the rug (to the left of your husbands knee and just around the corner of the cushion) but this is a small price to pay for keeping it natural
Maybe a slightly lower crop to remove the TV? although then you would need to be careful not to lose the top of your husbands head and the upper panel of the unit th TV is sitting on my look odd. No doubt to could get them to pose for the shot and address these little points but in my opinion if you did that you would lose its inherant slice of life beauty
Oh BTW...Husband!!! How do I break the news to Ev...He was ready to emigrate after day 1 ;-)

Day 3 - Weddingby bdennyComment: Nice candid shot! Perhaps caught a bit betwixt and between in terms of tones, you could go for harsher tones to give the shot more pop, or perhaps even softer ones (perhaps with a bit of blur at the edges) to provide a more romantacised view
Feels like you have caprtured the warmth between the two subject, which IMO is not always easy to do in B&W
