day1_after.jpgby loveComment: Nice. I think you accomplished what you set out to do. My eye is definitely drawn to her eyes and the tattoo.
You might want to either blur the background slightly, or move her away from the wall, because I keep noticing the not-quite-straight brick pattern over her head. |

Vienna at the parkby onesaintComment: Well, with ISO 800 and f/3.5 in the sun, you're not going to get any motion blur with an active kid :P
I've never figured out how to use CaptureNX, but it seems to be working for you. The conversion is lovely (as is the shot). I might consider cropping off some of the white blanket on the right. It doesn't add anything to the final image. |

2-june 08. before&after. a cowby rozComment: I had to take your original and just color correct it to see what you'd really done. I like the cross processed, high contrast look. It makes a simple cow edgy and arty. I'm not sure whether or not I like the fact that the cow is now green, but I'm also not sure if the cross processed look would work with a cow colored cow. |

1-june 08. before&after. paper waspby rozComment: I think it would have done considerably better than 5.7, although there's always the contingent that votes bugs down. I'd have given it at least a 7. I absolutely love the sharpening job you've done. It's just the right sharpness in the right places.

Along Came A Spider Editedby TCGuruComment: Cool shot! Great job isolating and enhancing the spider. I think I might have left a bit more space on the left and bottom sides of the image. Spidey feels a bit cramped on the left side, and the spider web makes a lovely leading line that could be emphasized. Overall though, nice. |

spiderflower_edit.jpgby yankoComment: hmmmm....I agree that the original needs more contrast, but I'm not sure I like the edit, either. I love the shot, btw, and I like how the increased contrast gives the image depth. I think my problem is the color shift to a cooler yellow. I think I preferred the slightly warmer, more orangey yellow. Just my opinion, though. |

Afterby timfythetooComment: Nice work. It looks like my grandfather's old barn. I especially like the detail you got on the front side of the barn. If I'm going to quibble, I'm not sure like the color of the cattle. They seem to blend into the front of the barn more than before, and I think I'd prefer the opposite. |
