The Conductor - Train of thoughtby PhotoDaveComment: You got an 8 from me. Love these types of scenes. . . especially the B&W. Like your title as well. Nicely done. My only comment, and I know I'm pointing out the obvious, is the flash in the bill of the cap. BOL |

Abandoned Cellsby wetlandComment: Gonna take a wild stab here. Would this by any chance be the Mansfield Reformatory? |

4069 Camelliaby pixelpigComment: Hey pixelpig, don't beat yourself up. Image is great. If you are looking for comments to change things a little, my only suggestion would be to crop more out on the right and slightly more on the bottom. Go for a very tight crop to eliminate some more of that black. Your intended focus seems to be the center of the flower. That crop would move it even more so to the center and bring the stamen forward. IMHO Message edited by author 2008-08-01 14:09:33. |

High Contrast Desert Four O'Clockby quicheComment: Almost looks like a painting. Hey. You were encouraged to experiment and experiment you did. My only comment is that I would like the background top left as dark as bottom right. |

day1b.jpgby MaggyeComment: Hey! That's not fair, Maggye. You did two! Of the two, I like this one the best. More detail. More saturation. Great bouquet. (Is that the right spelling to describe the background ?) |

Bromeliadby ZippyComment: Wicked shot! Colors pop. It is definitely neat. . . don't underestimate it. Just a suggestion: Did you play with going the other way, i.e., Gaussian Blur instead of sharpening? |
