what directionby MephistoComment: It's already been said but I have to concur that the movement of the train adds a masterful touch. For me the train metaphorically represents life passing by quickly as the building slowly decays. |

commute-bw.jpgby kolasiComment: Very interesting perspective. I would have liked to see the frame raised just a bit to loose a little of the foreground. This would take the feet a bit further off-center too. Very nice as is though. |

09 - Stables in the Fogby ErikVComment: I'm always partial to the shots that capture the elements at work. I have to say that the sharpness of the other one is very nice too. One other key point that catches my eye though is the difference in the fence line (at the left). In the fist photo the leading line is almost lost as the fence dips down the hill. In this one the line is more complete |

13.52 Station guyby MelethiaComment: I like this alot Deb. For me it's almost a picture (the man) whithin a picture (the station). I usually don't like when I feel there are competing subjects in a single image but it really works in this one. |

12 - Veinsby BudComment: Nice detail. I would have like to see more tonal range. It's not always possible but B&W shots with the deep blacks and bright whites are the ones I like best. |

Abbylicious !by SandyPComment: Excellent capture. I can empathize, my oldest daughter hated having her picture taken. Even when she would allow it all she could muster was a forced smile. Capturing her in any relaxed pose was nearly impossible. Well done! |

Portrait No. 1by mia67Comment: Beautiful profile. Evocative, make me wonder what far-off place or person is on her mind.
Slight, very slight, distraction by the light lines near the mouth and chin |
