Emerald City Skylineby franktheyankComment: What? No Space needle? :)
A nice shot by itself, but having a distinguished landmark helps I think. Also, if the foreground had a little more light, it would've been awesome to see all those sailboats I think - a unique foreground in the challenge. |

Charm Cityby ferrissComment: Nice to have a foreground unlike most skyline shots in the challenge. However, in this case, the foreground is completely dominating the skyline with such brilliant green color, and is becoming the subject itself. Between the two, I rather like the nice downtown here to be the main subject. Maybe tone down the saturation a good bit for the foreground? Making the green muted might help the picture more. |

Gold Coast Convention Centreby thrumyiisComment: Aha! "Well after the Sun goes down" can also mean "Just before the Sun comes up"! Creative thinking :) Hope folks won't vote you down for it and still consider this as a nightscape.
The pic itself is nice and love the walkway curve in the foreground leading up to the building. I wish there was a little more separation between the foreground building and the background skyline. Right now it's a bit unsatisfying to see the lightless roof of the building mask out a nicely lit downtown. |

Friday Nightby QikiComment: Lovely colors.
Very surprising that the colors in the reflections don't match at all with the colors on the buildings!!
Also, the picture by itself is fantastic, but the border completely ruins it. Originally, the water line was at 1/3 height in the picture - which is awesome. However, with the addition of this border, the waterline is closer to center than the 1/3 line, and thus the pic loses it's balance. |

Where The Streets Are Paved With Gold by ekmaiComment: Wonderful title to a crisp picture. Very nicely captured. Love all the blue/purple/green hues on the buildings in complete contrast to the roads. Nicely balanced as well. Very well done. |

Just so you know, I shot this with a broken cam. And that's LED on the black building, not halo. Ok?by LandzEncaComment: Lol! Very creative title for the picture :D
For a broken camera, the picture is super crisp. I now see your concern about people thinking it's a halo. Beautiful colors on this and lots of detail. The water is more interesting though - the left side is showing signs of long exposure smoothening and the right side isn't. I'm guessing this shot is done at less than 5 seconds of exposure?
The white/black border is a bit too bold, and the picture might've presented itself fine without it. |

Vibrant San Diegoby louinsdComment: The Petco Park is nice, as is the bridge and the car light trails. I'm guessing you stopped down quite a bit to get that neat starry light effect and the whole thing in focus?
The drop down in the bottom-center is quite distracting though - doesn't really add to the pic and almost seems like an eyesore compared to the rest of the nice downtown. Would've been nice to have another perspective of the same scene that avoids such prominence to it. |

Sydney by GregoryBComment: Beautiful! The blue is a bit overpowering compared to all the muted colors, but the scene is fantastic and well balanced. |

South Street Bridge Viewby banmornComment: Neat skyline of Philadelphia. The dark blob of trees at the bottom are mildly distracting, but the buildings are strong enough subject to overcome it. The smooth water and the small portion of the reflections add to the picture nicely. |

Bridge of Lightby Kevin_FlynnComment: Very interesting! The Bridge not only crosses the water body, but also connects the warm left to the cool right :) The nice tone divide and the still reflections work very well. I would've cropped a little bit off the top and bottom - it's too much negative space I think. |
