Another attempt in my never ending quest to take the 'perfect' night shot of Perth. As usual, conditions conspired against me and a breeze blew up which spoiled the reflections on the water. Better luck next time.

Simple editing. Took RAW file in to ACDSee Pro and cropped and straightened a little. Ajustments made to contrast, highlight enhancement, lighting and saturation. Cloned a few hot pixels from the sky and some sensor crud (time for a clean). Resized, sharpened, saved as JPEG. Image looks SO much better without the 800 pixel size constraint.

Lovely colors.
Very surprising that the colors in the reflections don't match at all with the colors on the buildings!!

Also, the picture by itself is fantastic, but the border completely ruins it. Originally, the water line was at 1/3 height in the picture - which is awesome. However, with the addition of this border, the waterline is closer to center than the 1/3 line, and thus the pic loses it's balance.

I always find it amazing how different a reflection can look from the reflected - beautiful colors
