Singin' in the Rain-3by pjangelComment: I can't say why, but this texture is perfect for this shot. It's adds depth more than anything else. |

manmadeobject4.jpgby icu1965Comment: Indeed, what a monument to our insatiable appetite for growth and development! On the other hand I've always thought this would be a great job! If only we got to rebuild with parks and wildlife refuges instead of malls and parking lots. I like this shot a lot, though you've lost some detail in the shadows. |

manmadeobject5.jpgby icu1965Comment: About 8 mpg, I'd guess! But when gas costs a nickel a gallon...who cares! Oh, for the good old days. Lets see, lets do the math here. 5 cents to five dollars is between 600% and 700% increase. 8 mpg to 60 mpg (at best) is less thatn 300%. So, relatively speaking the price of gas has more than doubled in real dollars since the 30's. Didn't you ask? |

manmadeobject6.jpgby icu1965Comment: Hey, my mother had a Singer very similar to that, but probably much newer. I remember the folded up cabinet sitting in the hallway of our house as I was growing up. Great processing. |

manmadeobject7.jpgby icu1965Comment: The first thing I did when I opened this was look for the rotation button. Ha. Then I realized I wasn't in photoshop at all, but in icu1965's world and sideways was just fine. I like how the colorful bottles stand out against that dark background. |
