Man made object #6, an old Singer sewing machine. This is in my upstairs living room. I don't usually have it set up, I use it as more of a table. It was my husbands great grandparents sewing machine. They signed it on the inside and it's dated 1902. I wanted to make the processing fit the age of the machine.

I think the processing is fantastic to give this an old postcard look. I know you're away of the tripod issue but the slight blur adds to the overall effect, IMO. You took this from a good angle although it appears you may have been off-center, although that may be your intention.

Nice image, the highlights are a tad bright, other than that the editing looks good.

Hey, my mother had a Singer very similar to that, but probably much newer. I remember the folded up cabinet sitting in the hallway of our house as I was growing up. Great processing.

Lovely subject, great PP, think it suffers from a bit of camera shake.

This is kind of stark & spare, but somehow nostalgic. I don't mind the blur, it seems appropriate & the border is very well done.

I'd bump contrast here a bit but this has such a vintage feel to it. Really cool.

The processing is great, and I think the bright/harshness of it fits the period.

Great idea, great colors, but it's too blurry/soft.

The lighting is a bit harsh, but other wise the pp does give a nice old fashion feel to it.

A little less harsh lighting maybe and at least some part of the subject in sharp focus - those are the only things that would make a great image greater, IMO. I love your series and this is a gem.
