Slice-of-life-17.jpgby joynimComment: The texture makes it seem like we are looking through plexiglass or plastic of some kind. Like your background, too. If I'm not mistaken, those are next years blossoms. |

Day-18-slice-of-life.jpgby joynimComment: Wonderful job engaging her eyes. Could be a little better focused, and better lighting would help add definition. Nice soft colors. |

day 17. slice of life. andrew in shadesby rozComment: Your nephew looks like he's very patiently waiting for you to get the shot. I always have trouble taking photos of my family. I don't want them to feel self conscious (which they do), so I don't get in their faces, but that's the only way to get good pictures. I guess you have to be willing to make them squirm a little. |

day 14. slice of life. a beeby rozComment: This has a very surreal quality. Can't quite make out if the flower is part of the textured background or is part of the bee photo. The bee looks like he's hovering in mid-air over a tapestry of some kind. Love the subtle lighting. |

day 18. slice of life. tegan & lauren @ gloria jean'sby rozComment: Ohhh, is she gonna hate you for that! Well, however unflattering it may be to be caught with your mouth wide open, she looks quite natural...what I mean is...oh, never mind. Great processing, again.
ps - love your border. Might steal it. Message edited by author 2007-10-18 14:11:20. |

Tiresby MelethiaComment: Nice perspective. Good use of rule of thirds (unlike someone else I could mention). Yeah, yellow isn't the most convincing of colors, but it is the happiest, so if you have to pick just one... |

Messed up tentsby MelethiaComment: Reminds me of the tents on the TV show 'Mash', except they had trees in the background. Loved that show. Do you live in one of these? |

Rear viewby MelethiaComment: Great idea to desat only the mirror. I love how the sun flair crosses over onto the area outside of the mirror - like a transition between differing universes. |

Available seatingby MelethiaComment: Very nice capture of composition and lighting. And, it looks like you shot from the hip, or were you down on one knee? This has everything from black to white with all the tones in between without being blown out, or losing important detail. Expert. |

beigeby MelethiaComment: Very cool study of texture and color. I like the vertical orientation. |
